First of all, you must have received an email from them.

Now look at the cc part of it.

That’s to discover who the email has been copied to.

(By the way, cc means carbon copied which is a throwback to the old typewritter days when carbon paper was used to make copies of a typed letter!)

What you should look at is not who the email has been copied to but the number of people.

The greater the number email addresses in the cc section will give you an indication of how bureaucratic and inefficient a company is.
