Usually my photography efforts are rather humdrum.

It’s especially so if I try to make an effort. Getting the composition right, waiting for the correct light or a certain event like the sun peeping from the clouds or a wave breaking.

Then, with no warning, out of the corner of my eye, I see something. I turn and snap. As, I do so, I know the results will be good.

Well, good for me anyway! 🙂

To a professional, these are amateurish, but I like them!

I don’t count photography as a hobby of mine. But I think it’s great. It’s like fishing. It sends you out there into the world. It’s not the fish that’s caught nor photo you capture that counts but rather the participation, being involved in the activity that adds to a richness in life.
