Today is the festival of Eid, a day of celebration for Muslims all around the world. We Malays call it “Hari Raya” or the “Day of Celebration”. And celebrate we can!

I’d like to wish everyone of whatever race and religion a season’s greetings. Religion needn’t be divisive for it can unite too. For we can be united in goodness, in being moderate, in being kind, humble and understanding.

In Malaysia’s plural society, we are blessed in its cultural and festive richness and, yes, that means we get lots of public holidays too. And that can’t be no bad thing, huh!

Take care you guys, and drive safely!
